Hi,

I have looked on the community and on the web but can’t find anything recent on this.

I have old Sonos gear running on the S1 app - all fine.

I recently bought a Roam SL and have a separate system with only the Roam on it run on the S2 app. I have added our Synology Diskstation music library - no problem.

However, I can’t seem to find BBC Sounds or Qobuz (Idagio is fine). What am I doing wrong / can anyone help?  Or is this a function of the new app that seems to have broken a lot of functionality?

thanks

Richard

Log out of the app and log back in again, and then try adding those music services again.
Also check your Sonos account (click your Avatar top right of the forum) has UK set as your location.

I use the iPad version and have just tried searching for bbc and qobuz under services and see both. Qobuz was already added to my system, so I tried bbc first.

Apologies if you already know how to get to the services, but it might help others who stumble across it and aren’t sure.

Manage on the right hand side
Add content at the bottom

Then rather than scrolling true trying to find things I just start typing into search.

Thanks, Rhonny and Sigh.

However, I don’t see Qobuz of BBC Sounds.

Neither is there anywhere in the app to check location. The best I could find was to go to my account and edit the email address which then asked for my address (it wasn’t in before because I’m having to run a different email address to enable me to get the Roam / S2 on a different system.  I put my UK address in with location this morning but still no change now (12h later).  My main Sonos account (this one) is UK-based and I have all these services.

I also uninstalled the app and reinstalled it.  No better (worse, ‘cos now I’ve lost where to add my NAS music library!).

I’m using an android tablet.

Any other ideas?

many thanks

Dick

UPDATE

Uninstalling and re-installing isn’t the same as signing out, I discover ….

So I signed out and signed back in and now I can see BBC Sounds and Qobuz - but still can’t add them!

My S2 email address is different to my BBC Sounds and Qobuz addresses, so I’ll have to either add new BBC and Qobuz sign-ins if I can.

Seems I can’t just sign in with my main Sonos account as the app requires me to sign in as the owner to manage accounts.

FURTHER UPDATE

With a new BBC account, I now have BBC Sounds - hurrah - and thanks for your help.

Strangely, Idagio and Qobuz have let me sign in with the email address I originally used with them.

All I have to do now is add the NAS….

thanks again

Dick

Glad that part is now sorted for you! Good luck with the NAS.
