Apple Music Radios stop playing

Sonos has marked this issue as “resolved” but it’s not. I stream radio with Apple music every day though my Sonos Beam and inevitably I start experiencing drops in the stream. Meanwhile on my portable sonos speaker I never experience this drop no matter where I put it in the house. Yet another unresolved glitch by Sonos that people are begging them to resolve.

Hi @G-phone

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear of this issue you are having with playing Apple Music on your Sonos Beam.

We are aware of an issue that may prevent an Apple Music track from playing past the 30 second mark, or thereabout, and are investigating.

It is also possible, however (and especially as only one speaker is affected) that the issue is due to local interference.

Could you please recreate this issue and submit a support diagnostic soon after and let me know here when you have done so? I’ll be happy to check which it is for you. Please don’t share the number given, however - I'll find it without. Thanks.

Are you able to connect the Beam to your router via Ethernet? For troubleshooting purposes, temporarily hardwire the Bean to see if it makes a difference.

i have an Arc that is hardwired and I have no issues with Apple Music not playing
