See this link on how to add a Music service to Sonos:

Also this:

apple music is not listed as a music service.

Check my link for Availability in your location.  If it is available, check your account below.  Make sure your location is correctly entered in your profile info.

my location is the UK and is correctly recorded. apple music is not listed as a music service.

Thats unusual, I’m UK aswell, but I’m seeing the Apple Music service (see screenshot attached) - if you’ve just recently changed the Country setting in your online profile, you might have to wait a while. Perhaps try fully closing (slide off screen) and reopening the App too.

checked everything as suggested. apple music is not listed as a music service.

Make sure you use a Sonos ‘mobile’ controller App, rather than the Windows/Mac (desktop) App and ensure the mobile device meets the system requirements shown in this link:

https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/sonos-app-requirements

If still no joy adding ths music service, you could also go onto reset the Sonos App. See this link…

https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/reset-the-sonos-app

On reopening the reset App, step through the opening screens, accepting the T&C’s etc. and choose the option to connect back to your ‘existing’ Sonos system. Do not create a new Sonos system.

When complete try adding the service again.

If you still have the issue after trying these things, then it maybe best to submit a Sonos system diagnostic report from within the Sonos App, note it’s reference and then contact/chat with Sonos Support Staff via this LINK and see what the Staff can perhaps suggest to resolve the matter.

Just as a further thought too @really confused, it might also be worth powering off your Sonos speaker(s) and rebooting your router too, just to perhaps get rid of any potential gremlins.
