Just bought several Sonos speakers for my home.  My entire family uses the apple eco system.  I keep getting the error that I can’t play song (from apple) due to an encoding error.  The advertisement said I could play my Apple Music through these speakers.  Saw all the responses, and personally, I don’t care who’s responsible for the failure.  Sonos collected my money and I just need the fix for this. If no fix I’m taking it all back to Costco on Friday and buying something that works with Apple.

One workaround seems to be playing Apple Music directly from the Apple Music app to your Sonos speakers via AirPlay rather than using the Sonos app.
