App Sign on locked out

When trying to connect a roam 2 to my home system, ie an ARC with a sub, I encountered this problem: When I try to log in the app continues to repeat the log on request, I tried changing my password but it still requests that i sign on as owner al the time? What gives?

That certainly seems wrong. Was this Roam 2 new, or did you buy it second hand? Have you tried a reboot of your router? Is it possible that you have two Sonos accounts, and the logins are warring with each other?

I would certainly recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
