But currently it's still impossible to delete a single track from your queue.
Basic functionality is coming back in baby steps. But how exciting is it that after 5 months I can finally reorder songs in my queue??!
The annoying thing is that the app “knows” which album the track is from. It’s typically showing me a picture of the album right there! But seems there’s no way to select / navigate to that, except by “browsing the artist” and effectively starting again..

You can delete a track, just swipe it left.

Track removal from a queue is already back in the new Sonos App. At least I see that option on my iPad controller by simply swiping left on a chosen track. See attached queue image attached.
In the OP’s opening post however, they refer to a different issue altogether and that’s the ‘playback option’ screen which appeared by long-pressing on an album/playlist in the old S2 App, which did allow a user to see the tracks on the selected album/playlist and the old App allowed playback of any track on that album/playlist. Admittedly, I miss that feature too and it’s certainly not available in the new Sonos App.
Anyhow, it’s +1 from me too for that ‘playback options’ feature. I would like to see that included (reintroduced) in the new Sonos App aswell.
Coincidentally I have an ‘old’ screenshot of that menu feature from an old video capture and I’ve screenshot that and attached that here too, just for information.
