I had 5 SL speakers for years. Worked perfectly, even with new app. Family and friends loved it. Sonos sold a lot to them. 

 

Then I got a Beam 2 three weeks ago. Music played perfectly on all 5 SL+Beam. Speech Enhancement and Night Sound never worked, but when I called technical support, after sending in diagnostics, they told me it was a known bug. So there is that.

 

Then app got updated last week, and now it will randomly pick speakers to play music on, changing every few seconds, and at random volume. My partner is getting upset with me and wants a different system. 

 

So now to reliably play music, I had to buy bluetooth speakers from a different firm.

 

I was about to buy an Arc with a subwoofer and 2 Era 300 for my beach house. My partner vetoed that. Nobody in my circle will now touch Sonos.

 

So why are they making the app worse? music was working perfectly until their last week’s update.
