Am I the only one who has had enough of Sonos. Used the products for years but now I feel like it’s an expensive piece of junk that’s ruined my music playlist. Not reliable, constantly crashing etc.

Tried everything mentioned on forums and today I see an article that they have fixed 90% of the app, what a load of crap that is. 😂

No you’re not alone. The problem is that lots of Sonos customers are tired of Sonos apparent apathy, and Sonos appears to be tired of their customers.

New Sonos App is working okay here on iPad/iPhone & Android Tablet - I’m not seeing any significant issues with the App. Everything works & plays.

If perhaps not done already, I suggest that anyone experiencing issues with the latest App/Firmware go onto reproduce the issue(s) seen with their System and then immediately submit a Sonos system diagnostic report from within the Sonos App, note it’s reference and contact/chat with Sonos Support Staff via this LINK and see what the Staff can perhaps suggest to help resolve the matter.

Hope you are able to get the issues resolved.

I’m seriously close to binning all of the Sonos gear I have which is literally dozens of components. It would be a joke if it wasn’t such a f*cking nightmare. Can never connect, when I do it drops out, can’t find components, loses the whole system …. a constant headache, it never works properly. I’m over it.

I’m not sure if you’re asking for help or just venting.

It’s strange though. Only today you joined the forum. You’ve acquired all that kit yet it “can never connect”, is a “constant headache, it never works properly” but you’ve never come onto the forums in all those years to ask for help.

Right? Its really quite a testament to Sonos’s prior software standard that users didn't need to have a forum account to figure out how to have their system play music or keep track of which speakers have been setup. Really makes you think

I’m venting. I’ve owned Sonos gear for years - I guess I was an early adopter. I’ve lived through the ‘compulsory’ upgrade where I chucked all of my old gear and bought the later stuff when they stopped supporting the old app. I’ve never felt the need to join the forum even though I’ve searched many times for solutions to problems which seems to be increasing. I’ve had teenage kids parties, Christmas parties, wakes, birthday parties where the damn thing keeps dropping out - it’s infuriating. I’ve actually been an advocate for years, always telling people to get Sonos because when it works - it’s fabulous. It used to always work. Now it’s shit. Should I really have to reboot my router and run around the house unplugging every component most nights ??
