Hello guys,

I have been using Amazon Music Family and my Plex library for years with Sonos.

Since a few weeks/months, the Sonos app won’t play any content I select from the Amazon library. Just an error message.

I tried to re-authorize Amazon Music from my phone. The process went through. But again, after searching for a title to play, error message.
I tried to suppress Amazon Music from the services, to add it again. Same issue.

Suppressed again, and now, when I select Amazon, it says impossible ta parse music, one issue occured when connecting to Amazon Music (translated from french).

My Amazon Music account is active I can play from the iOS app.

Other issue: Plex ! SOLVED: it was a port forwarding issue. the plex console turne red on external access after being green for a moment.
The same, when I try to play music from Plex, I have a message saying “No available Plex Media Server has music libraries. Please create a music library”.
I do have a server with a music libray.
I check in Plex console, the server is accessible from outside my local network.

I have re-authorized the Sonos app with plex, no success. I have deleted Plex from my sonos services, then added it again, no sucess.

It is driving me crazy.

Would anyone have any idea on what is going on?

thank you and merry christmas !

If you are choosing music via Search in the Sonos app, there is a current Sonos/Plex issue where tracks found this way appear but consistently fail to play.  Sonos has acknowledged problems with Plex search/playback, but afaik there has been no clear indication of if or when this will be addressed.

FWIW I have only seen discussion of this in the context of locally hosted libraries which may behave differently than Amazon.  But seemed worth flagging so you are aware of this particular bug.

@Raguu thank you very much for the information.

I will keep checking fo any update from Sonos then.

As for Amazon Music, I will call back Sonos Support. Last time, the lady told me that from their daig tool, she could see 2 networks on my home…

My Sonos are all on the main network and can play Sonos Radio just fine…

It is really weird...
