I recently tried to create a new alarm, just to notice that everytime I choose a song I get thrown out off the alarm and won’t be able to choose a song for the alarm.

Hi @Not_Sondrey.07, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear you’re having issues setting up an alarm in the app. I’ve given this a test with my system and it doesn’t kick me out when using my Samsung S22. Are you able to try a different controller to set up the alarm with to see if that helps, such as another phone, the desktop controller, or the web app?

For selecting a music source for an alarm, our internal documentation says that you can select either the Sonos Chime, Sonos Playlists, Imported Playlists, or Sonos Radio for the music selection, but not individual songs (unless you have a Sonos playlist with a single song). My app doesn’t give me the option to select a single song, so if you’re seeing this and you’re able to select one then that could be why it’s kicking you out.

If trying a different controller doesn’t let you set the alarm, I’d suggest powering off your Sonos system for one to two minutes as well as restarting your controller.

I hope this helps!

Have the same problem on my iPhone and iPad.

same problem with iPhone.

Hey Jamie,

for the music selection of the alarm, you can also search for other music. I also have this problem. It occurs whenever I search for a playlist with spotify and select one.
I’m on iPhone

It worked fine a couple weeks ago by the way
