Alarm won't save.

I recently updated my system to go from a wired / SonosNet system to an all Wireless WiFi system. When I went to add alarms , it would not let me save them. I can put in the information for the alarm but when I hit the save button nothing happens and the alarm does not save.  It seems like this was a problem for people about a year ago but was then resolved and alarms have worked for me up until just now so I can't work out what would have changed. I am using the app for Android on a Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra

Well, as I said, odd. Both in the fact it occurred, then ‘fixed’ itself. In fact, I’d suggest that may point to some wifi interference between your speakers, the router, and the controller app….but that’s merely conjecture on my part.

That seems odd. Assuming you’re current on the firmware of your speakers, of course. The alarms are stored at the speakers, not on your controller, so what and where your controller is running shouldn’t make a difference.

Which Sonos OS are you running, S1 or S2? What speakers are you trying to place an alarm on?

Have you tried a reboot of both the Sonos, and the router?

Thanks for the quick response Bruce.  I’m running on the S2 OS and everything is as up-to-date as it can be.  The problem seems to have fixed itself after I got home from work today - must have just been a weird glitch in the app.
