Add Sonos feature to be able to see the song playing while iOS lock screen is on. Having to pick up my phone to unlock it to view song/artist every time is wasteful and tedious.

You’d need to petition Apple to change their policies. As has been discussed in many threads, this is a result of Apple changing their rules on remote control apps, versus apps that play music on the Apple device itself.
