So I had an issue with the search functionality of Spotify inside the Sonos app, got annoyed, removed the service and wanted to re-add the service, and now I’m met with (500) Sorry we are unable to set up your Spotify account at this time.

I’ve tried revoking the access from the spotify app, I’ve tried uninstalling the spotify app to force the sonos auth through the web, I’ve tried installing the desktop app to add the services through that.
I’ve even tried powercycling the entire system.

Nothing works, I’m so close to pulling the crap out and toss it in the trash, basically useless to me without Spotify.

Has anyone got any ideas of what I could do ?

Sonos is aware of the problem with Spotify:

“We've identified a problem with Spotify on Sonos and are working with them on a fix. You may not be able to browse Spotify menus in the Sonos app or add the service until it’s resolved.”

That makes a whole lot more sense then, thank you for the information

Suggestion to Sonos, could you add a link in your error message to a “Service Status” page or similar, it would help in cases like this

Just put https://status.sonos.com in your favorites.

They should remove the ads from Sonos Radio while major services cannot be accessed. No Spotify, no music for me

Cannot connect directly from the spotify app nor from the sonos app very annoying, no music for me;0(

I shouldn’t have to, to be honest :)

it takes very little effort to embed that into the error message
