I know many threads exist with this exact feature request and Sonos staff acknowledged it over a year ago.

Sonos Radio is their only music streaming service. It makes perfect sense to include it on their app. If you don't want to listen to it, you don't have to.

Well, I've purchased speakers from Sonos, not a streaming service which I could not be less interested in.
If I don't want it clogging up my home screen, then I should be free to hide it.
