Are you talking about a playlist for a service or a local library?
As far as I know you are able to create playlists.
Have you updates the app and speaker firmware to the latest release?
There was an update earlier this week. Go into settings and check to see if your system needs one.
Sonos Playlist creation and editing are only available in the largely unmodified PC version of the controller.
The Android and IOS version still lack the ability to Create or Edit Sonos Playlists so your original question is a good one and one which many customers are waiting for an answer.
