when turning up the volume sliders in the app, the sliders are not responding properly, when I slide to increase the volume slider will move up and then back on it’s on. also there is a big delay when hitting the play buttons as well as pausing a track.

Have you tried tapping the speaker icons on either end of the volume slider to turn the volume up and down instead of using the slider? I find this much more accurate and responsive.

The slider elastic response continues. Move it it moves back then forward….maybe! Been like this since the new app release. Can press tap the speaker icon of the slider but that’s a cop out. Why have a slider at all then? Just have a plus or minus button if you don’t want a slider. It’s been months Sonos, get it sorted.

Slider ‘elasticity’ is a fair indication that your controller isn’t speaking well/constantly with your speakers. You may want to read the wifi interference FAQ, or look at the potential for duplicate IP addresses.

Or, you may want to submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
