I wrote a small python script and GUI that should run for people in windows, if you're interested, send me a PM, I'll send you a link. It could use some people testing it. It requires python to be installed.

Got tired of waiting for Sonos to improve their software.

It will:
1) Limit volume per zone
2) Drop zone to a threshold after a "quiet hour"
3) Mutes the zone after "mute hour"

PM send too. Thanks for the good work. Sonos should do this... (but they don't listen to their customers)

It's a shame that SONOS doesn't implement this but anyway there are creative people out there!
Thanks for your engagement.

PM sent too.

I'd like a function to change the Playbar/base to night mode between a period from say 22:00 to 09:00 daily.

I have sonospy running on a Raspberry Pi, trying to implement the volume limit. It runs in debug but does not return a volume value from the speaker so therefore does not turn down the volume. Possibly a port problem? I have the standard pycpoint.ini file installed how do I know which port number to use?
Thanks.
