So I try to update and I’m sent to Apple App Store. I select update but then a pop up requests cc info. I don’t use cc’s anymore. Is there another way to update my SONOS, please?

As far as I am aware you don’t need to pay to update any Sonos software

I would check you have not been hacked

I'd recommend to change your Apple/iCloud password immediately.

I've seen some instances where if a charge on the App Store doesn't go through, users may be unable to update or use the App Store until that discrepancy is fixed. Either way, it sounds like you may want to reach out to Apple about this one.

If you really need to update Sonos immediately, try using a computer or another controller that is not tied to that Apple ID.

The apple store is what is requiring a cc on file … they like to have that on file even to download free stuff.

Well I use apple iPhone X. iMac. And iPads. And none have a CC linked to any of them. They never have. And all my updates work fine

I strongly suggest changing your passwords and contacting apple

I have had iTunes Store lock me out when credit card expired making me re-enter.
