So, yes, I know there have been a few threads on this subject but I still don't have a solution.

I've moved house recently and only have half the rooms set up with four rooms. My controller has five rooms. I can't just reset the unwanted room/speaker as it doesn't exist. Anyone else had the same issue recently please?

There is no 'deleting a room'. The controller simply discovers the devices when it starts. If it's showing 5 rooms they must be there somewhere.

Go to About My Sonos System. Does the apparently unwanted room have an IP address? It must have, to be contactable, so it's on the network.

Have you tried resetting the controller? It's under Advanced Settings.

Thank you, I have. The mysterious fifth room just refuses to leave.
