Any info on what the fixes are for this?  I want to play my Moves outside but not if it means resets and frustrations once the battery passes 50%

No info on 14.8 listed yet, but release notes are posed here:-

Thanks BMF.  Yes that is the first place I looked, as a point release the notes are normally there on the day.  Not that case this time though..

If it’s not a major update (which 14.8 doesn’t appear to be), it’s usually just “bug fixes and performance enhancements”.

I disagree. It the point release, such as 14.8 that get some  mention, especially as they slipped 14.7

Also 14.6 introduced some significant bugs, and not just the move.  Would be nice to know if they have been addressed, surely?

What is the issue with your Move? Mine is working perfectly right now on my holidays, also when going below 50%.

It gets to a certain battery level, not sure what is the trigger, but once reached the speakers get out of step.  This seems to be an issue with Stereo paired Moves, not sure it affect single ones.

Once out of step other problems start and nothing seems to sort them other than leaving them overnight on the charge base

Ah ok, I have indeed only one with me and at home they are always on the charger so I haven’t noticed any issues.

Some users on Reddit report that 14.8 has unlocked Sonos Voice Control for them

Just updated to 14.8.1 and no Sonos Voice Control in the system yet.

FWIW, Sonos just updated its terms of use to include Sonos Voice Control “SVC”.

https://www.sonos.com/en-us/legal/terms-of-use

Since Sonos has already indicated that SVC will not be available until June 1 in this announcement:

I wouldn’t have expected it to be showing up until June 1.

Whether that will require a new controller and firmware update, or merely a switch thrown on a Sonos server somewhere is unknown to me.
