I have version 11.0 installed for macOS. It forces me to update it in order to use it. When I give it to look for update it tells me "Updating the driver and then failed to update the driver." Thank you

I don’t know what driver it would be attempting to update, every time I have installed or updates Sonos, it’s only dealt with the application itself, and not any drivers. What happens if you delete the Sonos app, and redownload it from Sonos.com? Just be sure to ‘connect to existing system’ when it asks.

The application that forces me to update is the one on my Mac.
I have already removed it and reinstalled it.
But nothing.

I would recommend that you contact Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

I usually suggest the phone folks, they have more tools available because they're on the phone with you, but they are available Monday through Friday during business hours. The Twitter support folks are available 24/7.

Hi @Alfonso_Sonos

@Airgetlam gave a good suggestion.  One more option...If that warning is being produced by your Mac...try right clicking it to see if a “grant permission” splash appears. Just something to try...no guarantees.
