single step to play to all speakers (whole house) ?

I’m wondering

When I arrive home, and I am listening to Apple Music or Audacy on my phone, through my headphones or car speakers:

is there a simple way to shift the music to the whole house?

right now, I have to open AirPlay, select one speaker, then open S2 ad scroll down to the actively playing speaker, then open the speaker list and select play-all or whole house.

thats a lot of steps, for what seems to me as a common task.

also whenever playing a single speaker it’s never the one on the top of the S2 speaker list, the top is always the last inactive group session which is useless since nothing is playing there.

thanks

Hi @Bikezilla, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Currently there’s an issue where AirPlaying to your Sonos system will un-group any grouped speakers: the expected behaviour would be that all the speakers stay grouped when AirPlay is initiated, which is the simple way. The way you are doing it now is the current workaround while our team are looking into a fix, however I can’t provide any ETA on when this will be resolved.

I’ve marked this thread will the issue, so when a fix is implemented I’ll reply here letting you know.
