I can’t seem to figure out how search is supposed to work on Tunein radio, Iheart radio and other services. If I am looking for a particular station or program it seems I need to know in advance which category and sub-category Sonos has decided to apply to my target, if it is listed at all. There do not seem to be an effective search function.
How do people find stations and programs?

Welcome, thank you for reaching out to Sonos Community since you already tried some troubleshooting steps let me try to assist you.
You need to search the station manually in the Sonos application.
I suggest checking the local webpage like tunein for you to see the list of channels and what station it’s been categorized.
Then go back to the Sonos app and open the music services again.
