Hi all,
I know from @Chris that you can lock an iOS device to just one app but would like to do this on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.
If you can how do you do it and if not can I make a android widget that just displays the sonos app.
I got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite to solely use as a family controller.

You have to be running Android 5.0 I believe

OMG I had kind of read this and not very savvy with this OS and Installing Rom's etc - I'll have to read up on your links to understand what to do.
One point Chris on the second lollipop link point 3 says 'Connect the device to your PC by the USB cable. Now copy the ROM.zip file you have already downloaded into your memory drive.' I haven't put any SD card in it, will the 8gb onboard suffice?

I'm not up vey good on android
That's the problem for me @Chris, having an Android device just makes my spin shiver.
However it's better than paying for a sonos controller.
Come on guys, surely there is an Android guru in the house whom can give me a dummies guide on updating to Lollipop with a ROM?

I think there was a video on the link wasn't there
There's a video for screen pinning in Lollipop but not in OS update links, anyway thanks Chris I do some more research.
I was thinking of trying this today, read it and read it and still not sinking in, i'm not thick but have never done this before and don't wish to brick my device.
So i'm stuck and would appreciate some HELP!

From all above posts i think you want to upgrade your phone firmware version to a new level. To do so there are two methods for it. First one is upgrade with flashing stock rom. It is little bit long term and more complex methods thus, i recommend you to take instructions from Samsung Galaxy 3 Manual for it and the another method is:
Go to settings, click on about device, if the server shows any available upgrade/update notification there then kindly please do't miss them, install it. If there is nothing shown at that place then you can go for first method.
