S1 downgrade - easy and so much better for compatible speakers

Just downgraded my Play 1s and Sonos One to S1 from S2.  Now I can use the S1 app - sooooo much better.   Direct and responsive control and frankly it’s simpler to use than the new app.  Not sure if the new app controls kit via the cloud but it is still slow and unresponsive and a little glitchy when it comes to turning speakers on and off.  I’ve seen beta testing extends to users further away from AWS DCs - why is it so important to go via the cloud? I don’t like the online dependency this brings to use the kit….

ive left my Arc and Beam on S2.  This is fine because they are controlled by the to remote.

I’d thoroughly recommend the downgrade if you can.  Sonos have made the process pretty easy - thank you.
