Why not exactly? I have three PCs running both apps. Plus my own Sonos app. No issues.

No it doesn’t. There are independent apps.

Please re-state exactly the problem you are having, starting with what Sonos devices you have, and which are running on S1 and which are on S2, plus ideally how you got here (have you already set them up or is this a new system, are you upgrading S1 to S2, etc).

when I have s1 installed and try to install s2 it will be according to the picture I attached

and then s2 replaces s1 or uninstalls it

The screen you posted appears when you run Setup when you have already got the app installed.

it is these programs that I am trying to install, which results in my problem. I do not know how I can explain it more clearly s1 deletes s2 and s2 deletes s1.

it seems to be the same installation files in s1 as s2 and the computer thinks it is the same program. I also have one more PC that shows exactly the same symptoms. however, it works on my macbook air
