Release notes for Software update 12.2.3?

Hi All,

Has anyone seen any official release notes for the new software update 12.2.3 released approx. 3 days ago?

The Sonos site still appears to be showing the current version as 12.2.2 on the release notes page of their website?

Strange the release notes aren’t updated at the same time that they release the software.

Sonos the give away is in the name “Release Notes”… IE: Notes when you release software!

I coordinated this with our specialist and the reason why certain versions are skipped is that we only post release notes for updates with customer-facing features. Thanks for letting us know about this issue and we’ll pass along this feedback internally to our team.

Which implies, I guess, a bunch of background bug fixes.…

 

Which would be why it’s X.X.3, and not a larger number jump.

Could it be that Sonos updates the release notes when there is a speaker update, and not just an app update? The app is on 12.2.3 while the speakers are still on 12.2.2.

The Sonos rep above said: we only post release notes for updates with customer-facing features.

They released 12.2.4 and nothing was listed as well.

My Sonos system asked me to update. I did that and 12.2.4 was installed on my Sones Move only. The rest is still running 12.2.2 and Sonos states that all is updated.

If they don’t post anything, then it is just minor bug fixes, Sonos has said for any customer facing features, they will post release notes.

We are hoping it is for this!  Many of us having issues and the new update that some have received personally have fixed this.
