Plex: Large Collection browsable but can't be played

On my Plex Server, I have two Smart Collections (a.k.a Playlists), each having approximately 1500 tracks. These are easily browsable in the the Sonos app, but no tracks can be played from these Collections. The same tracks can be played if you navigate to the correct Album and play them from a shorter list. I guess the Sonos players are failing on the length of the queue, since all the tracks in the Collection are added to the queue…?

Do the players have a limit to the number of tracks they can handle being added to the queue?

Ate you saying all 1500 Plex tracks load into the queue, but are not playable?  Have you tried loading them using “Add to End of Queue”?

I don’t have Plex, but I don’t see a limit.  At least not in Apple Music ( screenshot ) or in Spotify.  I do, however, see a limit of 500 tracks in Amazon Music.  Even though there is that Amazon Music limit of 500 tracks if you stack playlists using “Add to End of Queue” you can get more Amazon Music tracks in the queue.  Sonos has another problem with Amazon Music playlists, though, where an attempt to load a playlist of 435 tracks will only load 400 tracks into the queue.  If you want them all you need to use the third party app SonoPhone.  Maybe try using SonoPhone to load the Plex playlists if they are not loading.

Try the desktop apps (or third party), they have less problems with random size limits than the mobile apps.
