The title says it all. The new app does not have that function anymore. Please bring it back or black-out the background in the now playing mode. Thanks!

Hi @schutte

Apologies for the delay.

Thank you - I've marked this thread as a feature request and it will be seen by the relevant teams for consideration. Keep the ideas coming!

However, I’m not entirely sure I know what you mean.

Here’s a screenshot of my Now Playing screen:

As far as I remember (not that I ever tried it), you couldn’t tap on the Album Art to make it fill the screen before. If this is what you mean, please let me know.

By “black-out the background”, do you mean change all the blue slate colour shown there to black? It normally changes according to the palette of the art currently showing.

Could you please elaborate, or mark on the screenshot what you mean and repost it? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your review/answer. On iPad (most visible) you only have stacked / overlay screens. So it appears as follows on your screen and that is not a full screen as it was before. The (only?) workaround right now is an app like Phonos Plus (but currently not the Sonos picture quality).

thanks!

Hi @schutte

Ah - you’re referring to the tablet experience! I understand now - thanks!

And thanks again for the feedback!

Thanks, happy to change the header but that is not possible anymore I think?

Hi @schutte

Good idea - I’ve added “on tablets” to the end of the title (I don’t think you would have been able to, no).

On your iPad (or an M-series Mac) you can use my app which has a full-screen display experience:
