Whilst my tv is playing through my arc speaker and shows on the app it is doing so then how do I play music on my roam and move using the app?

Select the Roam in your controller, and tell it what to play. Just because the TV is playing on your Arc doesn’t mean that is what you have to show on your controller.
Open the app on your phone and tap the tab at the top (Your System). All your speakers will come up to choose which one to play music on
