Finished standard setting up of a second hand Play 3 after long struggle. Ready to move speaker but it stops working when I disconnect the ethernet cable. Any ideas please.
The previous owner may have shut off the WiFi, an unsupported feature. To turn it back on, fctory reset the unit by unplugging, then plug back in while holding down the Mute/Pause button. Hold it in till the LED starts to flash, then try to add to the system again. If it still won't connect wirelessly, then the WiFi card may be bad. Connect via Ethernet and send a dignostic, then post the reference number here. Sonos will be able to dignose the problem.
