I just took the new update form Sonos for both the ios and macbook and now i cannot control the volume or mute from the Mac but the iPhone still works. Any ETA on a fix?

Remove the Mac controller and reinstall from https://www.sonos.com/support. Be sure to 'add to an existing system'.
Yea I have seen a few posts where the update on mac controllers this time around has caused issues. Deleting and re-installing as ratty says should clear it up.
