Western Drive have been compromised and told me to disconnect MyBookLive from the internet so my 125gb of music, lovingly put together over 18 years is now invisible to Sonos. WD solution… I transfer it all on to something else, send them the hardrive they send a voucher for 40% off certain models and I buy one and transfer from the “something else” to the newly purchased item.

Not sure that’s really a question, but yes, unless you want all that data erased by someone else, you should not reconnect it to your computer and allow any internet connection to it.
Sorry, I should have been clearer.Is there an alternative, what is best to download to and then from?
Any newer OS NAS would be fine. I still run a WD MyCloud device, but it is running the much newer and secure OS.
