With S2 out in the wild, I was wondering if anyone can test if local control with UPNP still works before I take the plunge (since I am unsure if I can rollback).

I use Sonos with my home automation setup and it relies on the UPNP API not the cloud API.

I took the plunge after some feedback on reddit →  it still works.

My hubitat integration and Sonospad app still works with S2.  They rely on the UPNP API.

Hi,

Waiting for the same kind of feedback

An official answer from SONOS would be the best…

The UPnP API seems completely identical. No differences detected so far. My app seems happy after preliminary testing.
