ios app feature suggestion: show timestamp in large font when scrubbing

The title says it all. Many other apps show the position within the file (timestamp) in a large font in the center of the screen while you are scrubbing (dragging the position slider). The reason this is needed is often you will want to drag to skip the first three minutes of a podcast, but your thumb blocks the time stamp.

That’s a great idea. In case you didn’t know, if you hit the dot and drag your finger up (or down), you can see the numbers as you move left/right.

Edit to add: The third party SonoPhone app does exactly this. Put the timestamp in large font in the center of the screen while scrubbing.

That's a smart accessibility suggestion. Large, unobstructed timestamps make scrubbing much more accurate, especially for podcasts and long audio tracks.

We ran into a similar usability challenge while building Schriften Generator. Small previews or UI elements hidden by touch can make it harder for users to compare and select different font styles efficiently. Simple interface improvements—like larger overlays, better visual feedback, and clearer previews—can make a surprisingly big difference to the overall user experience.

Hopefully Sonos considers adding this in a future update.
