I can add a song to a playlist, including a song playing on, for example: pandora to my playlist.
But I can’t add the station I set up on Pandora to my play list.
this seems like an obvious use case, WHY didn’t you provide that functionality?

You can make a Favorite of a Pandora station (which shows under My Sonos on the mobile controllers) but only playable tracks can be added to playlists.

Because Sonos playlists can only contain tracks, not stations.
(A station playlist is something quite different and is typically used to list multiple servers, all supplying the same stream, for redundancy purposes.)
