How do I add service to S1 app without upgrading?

I have some old components, so can’t upgrade to S2. On the S1 app, when trying to ‘add a service’, I get a message “App update needed.” Does “update” mean upgrading to S2, or is it just a new version of S1? In other words, how do I add additional services to S1 without updating to S2?

Without seeing the actual message it's difficult to say but I think it will be referring to a ‘simple’ S1 update.  If you do a ‘Check for Updates’ does it say there is one available?  Latest S1 version is 11.5 - what are you on (Settings - App Preferences)?

And some (I think) services require S2, there just isn’t the capability / memory available to add them to S1. Hence one of the reasons they needed to update to S2, so as to allow new stuff.

It shouldn’t be many, though, at this point, just one or two?
