It seems that the iPhone only presents the Sonos controls (play/pause, volume, skip) in the Lock Screen when Sonos was the last app used. It would be very nice to have this available anytime the Sonos system is playing.

You can have access to Sonos Lock Screen controls even if Sonos wasn’t the last app used. Just follow these guidelines:

“App Preferences” no longer exists in Settings - scrolling down to Sonos in Settings, these are the options that are already set:
