Where is the EQ setting in Android app ?

In IOS (IPad) i could find it in Device setting.

The inconsistent menu between IOS and Android is confusing.

I can’t reproduce your problem. For me on both, iOS and Android app, I can see EQ settings under settings… select room… scroll to sound and there is EQ.

they have fixed this. Found the issue in the morning, fixed in the afternoon.

Sonos totally screwed this one up! It used to pop up when you slid the volume control but somehow it was deleted about a year ago. I’ve complained about it and put the request into new features but nothing yet. So now, instead of one simple action you need to do the following:

  • Settings
  • Select Room
  • Scroll down to and select EQ
  • Adjust away

Same problem with Sub control! I don’t understand how Sonos can delete very useful functions without any input from the community and yes, I am a member of the Beta community. These sorts of actions are what are driving people away from Sonos...

And yes, the menu differences between IOS, Android, and Windows are absurd! It’s like they tried to make them as different as possible instead of as similar as possible. I’m guessing totally separate software developers are the reason for this.

To me is not that far fetched to put the EQ settings with the speaker settings. Aren’t these settings either superfluous or set and forget?

Not if you have dual Sub’s and a particular show is blowing you out of the room! It’s nice to be able to quickly drop the base then back off the sub’s.

I have the android app and I swear I can't find the EQ for ish!!!! I found it once and have not been able to find it again. I've clicked on everything under settings and I can't find it anywhere. An EQ being this difficult to find on a sound app is frankly ridiculous. It should be one if the easiest things to find.

Settings → [speaker/room] → scroll down and under Sound you’ll see EQ.

As you can read above this was a bug that has been fixed in the meantime. If you still aren’t able to find EQ settings where @Rhonny described, make sure your app and also firmware version has the latest update. If that also doesn’t help, please restart all your Sonos devices and reset your Sonos app in app settings.

So I guess there's a bug that makes this not show sometimes. I did those steps over and over and nothing. Checked it again a little later and it was there again. Very frustrating. This has happened a couple times already in the few days I've owned them. I live the speakers but hopefully this is fixed quickly.

@Seamus24

There is another app update today. I wonder if that will provide some stability in your Settings?

Does anyone see today’s update on Google Playstore? I just got it on iOS yet.

My previous experience with submitting code to various ‘stores’ is there is variable amounts of time before the data gets ‘pushed’. You may need to wait a bit longer.
