Hi,

is it in some way possible to control Sonos sound from distance? I have Sonos in a store, and I would like to be able to choose the music and volume from home. This because the staff is often changing the music or their own.

This is not available through Sonos.  However you could use a remote computer control program, such as remote desk.  Then you could have the Sonos app open on a PC at the Store and remote to that to see what’s being played and make any changes you want.

This is totally do-able. The Sonos Cloud API lets you do basic transport controls (including volume) and selection of favorites/playlists. You can’t select specific music from the library or music services though.

I took the easy path and use VNC to connect to a computer on the Sonos LAN running the Sonos Controller. Most other remote desktop methods would work as well.
