What is ‘it’? How is ‘it’ connected to the TV? How is your Sonos system connected to your LAN? How was it installed, originally? What device is your controller on? What Sonos OS is ‘it’ running? What OS is the device running your controller using?

Optical

Wifi

It was installed years ago. Worked fine. Tested fine during beta tests, wasn't until recent update that I ran into this problem.

Running controller on Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Running S2

Build 80.14.06 that was released on 12 6.

Now it is saying it cannot find the Playbar. I am thinking there are a few more bugs to work out from the latest update.

Ran diag. I will restart the whole system later today, see if that fixes the issue.

Also forgot to mention earlier. It did play audio through both my playbar and roam. But it could not adjust volume on the controller. Originally I could see playbar displayed just would not show the volume bar graphic to adjust volume only the roam did. But just now it is saying that it cannot find the playbar and it is only showing the roam in the panel.

I do have three other 5's as well.
