Can we stream music from a web site over Sonos?
New to sonos and bought the Play:3. Want to stream music from a fan website for a specific band. Is this possible?

Hi there, egrant.salvi. Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community. The only way you would be able to get music from a website, outside of connecting with one of our supported music services, would be to connect a computer to another device through Line-In. This would mean you would have to purchase another Sonos device (CONNECT, CONNECT:AMP, PLAY:5) to make that happen.

+22lastly would be an app like streamwhatyouhear which can direct computers sound to the internet (creates an actual radio station from your computer output).
But streamwhatyouhear will cause a few seconds of delay to sounds you are playing on your computer..
+22yes it will cause delay - but the original poster didn't mention any issue with having a delay. Would not be suitable for video.
