How much have your senior team received in remuneration since your ongoingly atrocious app was ‘updated’?

If you have an issue with the App tell us what’s going on and maybe we can help. Another option is to call Sonos Tech Support.

Now… this a community of volunteers. No one works for Sonos. The Moderators are staff personnel dedicated as Shepards of the community. The answer you are seeking (if serious) would be best directed to Sonos Corporate using one of the channels listed here. However, I doubt you’ll get the answer you’re looking for. Furthermore, the outcome would most likely be the same for any corporate entity you contacted with such a question.

That said...how can we help with your App issue?

Patrick Spence, the former CEO, was fired but received $1.9 million in severance iirc.

This may fan some “flames” but that was not an answer assuming you were serious 🤔. The OP is sarcastically asking how the senior team is being compensated for allegedly “mucking” things up with the App. Understand I’m not saying that the May 2024 app refresh didn’t cause a lot of problems for many loyal Sonos customers… as it did!

However, Mr. Spence’s severance package was NOT a reward for failure to lead. Severance packages at the C-Level (CEO, CFO, CIO, CLO etc) are negotiated as a condition of accepting the position. As quite often tenure in those positions is  highly volatile subject to successful navigation of market conditions as one and of course decisions causing mis-direction as was the case with Mr. Spence. Granting large severance packages or “Golden Parachutes” for C-Level types (for a soft landing as the name suggests) are common practice in corporations.

I said Spence received severance as he was fired so I don’t know what you are going on about.
