Amazon playlists being cut short on desktop and android

Hi,

Another update, another problem.  Not sure where the issue lies, but within the Desktop app today, I noticed that my playlists didn’t display all tracks (around 450).  I opened Amazon’s Music app, and matched it to around 220 showing in Sonos.

“ah well”, I thought, “I’ll just use the Android app instead”.  Same in there too…

I see the service status for the Amazon service is green, so ‘all good’ apparently, hence the ask.

Is this a new known issue introduced?  Is there an ETA on a fix for this?

Thanks

Hi @GarethB75

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear about this issue you - and others - are having with loading Amazon playlists into the Sonos app.

Amazon Music has changed a lot on their side of things in the last couple of months, and this is likely related to those changes. We’re looking into it, but I cannot say when this might be resolved, or even if this is a new limitation or not.

I hope this helps.

Search here should turn up several discussions on this.

We are hoping for a number of fixes in the next release, no official fix list though.

ok, thanks.

I did check, but could only see the recent issue with the Collections not showing playlists (that I encountered), and the older playlist limit from a year or so back (that I also encountered).  This one felt new in the last day or so, and search didn’t show the new ones.

I keep forgetting just how bad the search here is, try this.

site:en.community.sonos.com "amazon playlist"

https://www.startpage.com/sp/search?query=site%3Aen.community.sonos.com+%22amazon+playlist%22&cat=web&pl=opensearch&language=english

The site: option restricts it to these forums.
