Now, Sonos has teamed up with Amazon to provide the proclaimed highest quality music for streaming. I am wondering do I need to subscribe to it to experience it, or I can just retain my YouTube subscription, which comes with YouTube music, to have the same experience.

Amazon Music Unlimited vs. YouTube Music

Streaming quality on YouTube Music tops out at lossy 256kbps AAC and they don’t offer Dolby Atmos music. Amazon Music Unlimited can stream lossless 16-bit/44.1kHz (CD quality) and 24-bit/192kHz FLAC AND Dolby Atmos music.
So the audio quality on Amazon Music is much better than YouTube, and Amazon Music offers music in Dolby Atmos. In my opinion, you haven’t truly experienced what the Sonos Arc can do if you haven’t listened to Dolby Atmos music on the Arc. You should do the free Amazon Music Unlimited trial subscription and test it out for yourself.
