The new IOS that supports Airplay 2 has released now.
Any one knows any news or release date for the Sonos update to support Airplay 2?
It isnot good if Sonos is nor already ready but it doesn’t matter; give us a date at least!

Sonos never gives a timeline or delivery date until they are sure. They release according to testing criteria passed, not calendar dates. Asking for a date is an exercise in futility, it will arrive when it arrives.

+15Having been a software developer and system administrator, I think we kind of need to give some leeway here. There’s no way without significant testing to know if Apple released Airplay 2 fully in compliance with whatever specs and interfaces they distribute for AP2 before release. If they didn’t, and didn’t test all Sonos devices with AP2 before releasing it, then there’d be weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth about that, so to speak.
