I just spent over $2000 on this system, loaded up my music… And it couldn’t finish. I see from past posts that it has something to do with a memory limit of older devices. I have this 32-bit application called Winamp that hasn’t really been updated since before Sonos released its first product. It handles hundreds of thousands of songs with no problem.
What’s the work-around? I see support posted a link in a previous thread, but the link doesn’t work anymore. If I pare back my indexed folders, I can live with this, but this feels like it’s going to be the first of a series of software issues for something that’s supposed to be a premium product.
