Hi there - in the past week or so my Play:1 in my kitchen has noticeably started to crackle and I’ve also heard this on other speakers - it seems like it only is happening when playing SiriusXM I just realized. Any idea on how to fix this or what do to to correct it? It’s driving me slightly bananas!!Diagnostic confirmation number: 275800366.Thanks! Adam
WTF, it’s getting REALLY old resetting my system. Reboot your router - my router is working fine. I’m not challenging all of the other electronics associated with my router. Reboot your Sonos players - running an eithernet cable to every6 fricken device again...and again. Quit and reopen the Sonos app - I’ve deleted the app way too many times. Anytime power is lost or we move a device to the screened in porch, it gets lost. Whew. There are too many other options in sound. I’m beginning to think Sonos needs to get their stuff together. Anyone frustrated with it. Thanks!
I have multiple Sonos products. Sonos Controllers are on Android and iOS products -- all wireless -- and one iMac M1 running MacOS 11.5.2 Big Sur that has the WiFi turned off -- and I have reasons not to have the iMac on WiFi. This iMac is hard-wired to a switch that, in turn, is driven by an IP address set by an Eero router. This same switch is hard-wired to a Sonos Boost. As a result, all of my Sonos products are in “wired mode (WM:0)” All computers, Sonos products, and Sonos Controllers have been updated to the latest releases.Recently, I’ve noted that the iMac’s Sonos Controller does not always show all of the Sonos products in my house. The products that it does show work fine, as does access to the music library that is on a NAS, as well as other subscribed streaming audio services…..just some devices are missing. Doing a “Force Quit” of the Sonos Controller on the iMAC, followed by a restart does not solve the problem. Rebooting the iMAC does not solve the problem. So here’s the
Edit- read else where about cleaning the microphone out and now it’s working! Hi, wonder if anyone can help because I’m going out of my mind with this. Trying to set up Trueplay on my new Sonos Five, only it won’t complete the tunning due to ‘excessive’ noise in the room even when it’s completely silent. No matter what I try ( I’ve even tried it with my clothes off! ) I get the same message asking me to reduce the noise. I even tried sticking close to the speaker but that doesn’t work either. Can anyone offer any advice ?
Q: "hey Google play BBC radio 4"G: "playing BBC radio 4 on tunein"Q: "hey Google what's this?"G: "you are listening to BBC radio 4 extra on tunein" this started happening about 2 months ago on all Sonos products I own, Beam and Ones. Can somebody at Sonos please fix the mapping mistake? BBC radio 4 extra is not BBC radio 4. the work around is to use your phone to select radio 4 not extra), then use voice control toQ: "hey google stop"and Q: "hey Google continue"it.
My Sonos system keeps frequently loose products. I have several units in my home, but several times a week my Sonos app have lost one or more of them. Also, the installation quite often fails. So very annoying, since it affects the availability of listening to music at home.I also own four Google Home speakers, they never once loose their system.
I have a Sonos 1 gen 2.if I ask it to play a track from Spotify it says it is playing it, but is silent.if I ask it to play BBC Radio 1 it tells me it is playing then goes silent.I have to use it as a network speaker controlled from my iPad. This is frustrating.any ideas?
Hi Sonos, I’ve been experiencing lots of audio dropping while playing Spotify so I’ve decided to try the Sonos Boost. It helps a little, the audio drops less but it drops anyway. My diagnosis number is 657473618. My home Internet is fast, like really fast 500Mbps upload and 500 Mbps download. The audio started dropping a few months ago. The Sonos Boost is directly wired to the router, one of the Sonos one wired directly to the router too. My Sonos Beam is wired to the Sonos Boost. Only one of the Sonos is wireless only and yet it is experiencing audio drops. let me know if you can help
How can I play the sound from my windows laptop (youtube, movies etc) from my Sonos Move? I connected with bluetooth, installed the windows app, yet I still cannot set it as my audio output or anything. How can I do this? This thing costs so much yet I cannot even do the simplest thing with it...
Hello, Does anyone know what the following part is? I have been troubleshooting a defect Sonos Sub and it is not working. I suspect it to be a kind of diode as it’s marked as D6. However, there is no marking on the part itself. When I check the voltage drop with diode measurement with a multimeter, it’s 0V and it is short circuited when checking the continuity, regardless of polarity. The part is right behind the transformer. I am trying to find a suitable replacement but I am stuck unfortunately. Please see attached image. Thank you.
Guys, when I Connect The power cable, The White light comes on by 3 seconds after that it turns off.I Will donate by PayPal if someone help me to fix it, waiting for your feedback.
Hello,so I’m currently developing a music service and testing it via customsd. The integration in the controller app is working (iOS App & Windows Desktop App) - so I can browse - but I can’t get a Player to play any track. I keep receiving ‘unable to connect’ errors once I hit the ‘Play’ button in the controller. I can see on the service side that the Player sends a getMetadata and a getMediaURI request, and the SOAP responses delivered by the service are identical to working examples from another source; however, the Player seems unable to process them. I am kind of stuck, and I guess what would help me are the Player logs. Is there any way to get them? Any feedback is highly welcome! Many thanks in advance, and kind regards,Florian
Sonos,Please could you help diagnosing this problem?Diagnostics 630590368 & 281656925 illustrate I hope. Both players have fixed ip addressesRight player has a wired connectionBoth have wifi connection onWifi Channel 6 is being used (neighbours are mostly on channel 11)There are no other Sonos products in the house.strangely (to me) the player can often still be reached on its address (http://192.xxx.xxx.116:1400/support/review) even though it’s not playing.Diagnostic 1594625123 illustrates. The player ‘sorts itself out’ after a while and the stereo pair reappears (L+R). Power cycling also fixes things when I’m not feeling so patient. Diagnostic 2023556715 illustrates a working system. Unfortunately it’s not long before the Right player drops out again. Thanks.
Can someone help with a response to the following thread which I think should be in the support forum?
Greetings SONOS forum,My Connect Gen2 is dead only after 3 years of service. The SONOS support states I can get a replacement for $279.00 since my unit is out of warranty. My unit factory resets to a blinking white light with occasionally a flicker of amber. While holding the Play button a distinct Amber light blinks about three times and then white, then cycles. Prior to it completely not working, the unit starting sending a low background thumping sound and was dropping out. I would reset it and then it would work for a bit more but then drop out. Setting aside having my electronic guru fix it (he can), what product will I get as a replacement? That was not made clear to me. Another Connect Gen2 or a newer product? I can upgrade at 15% off but upgrade to what? Seems odd to me that products only last 3 years. I can understand software and firmware support compatibility issues emerging fast making things obsolete but hardware like capacitors and power supply components shoul

Apple TV and Apple Music - possibly NetflixListening to Apple Music in Atmos mostly and all is great for about 20 min. Then the audio will suddenly mute. No sound from speakers. Pause and play will not work and either skip forward to next sound or exit out of music a step to 2 and restart. The above has been the case for weeks. Until I returned back home after a week without any use. Now same kind of thing is happening but instead of muted or dropped audio I hear static tones and white noise. The static audio is random sounding not necessarily to the same beats as the song. Seems like the static sounds replaces the muted issue as mentioned. No updates as I know of no changes to content and usage.
Hi Community,I’m not able to pair the remote controller of my new TCL 55 C721 with the Playbar. I tried a lot of time but it seems the infrared signal is not recognized by the playbar. Can anyone help me? Thank you,Alessandro
I have been running the Syrinscape app on my ipad and using airplay to play the music on my Sonos system (two symfonisk lamps) for a while without issues. Today I added a Sonos Roam to my system. Now the sound from the Syrinscape app is no longer played from the Sonos speakers, eventought my ipad is still connected to the speakers. The sound now only comes from the ipad speaker. Every other app I use on the ipad still has its sound redirected to the Sonos speakers. Anyone an idea what could cause just one app to malfunction?
I have two One/One SL pairs (each a stereo pair), one in my office and once in the TV room. From my iMac (running Big Sur) I can airplay to the TV Room pair but I cannot pair to the office pair.I’ve gone thru most of the troubleshooting steps I’ve seen here -- rebooting router, computer, speakers. Both pairs have one speaker with ethernet and the other with WiF. As far as I can tell they are set up the same -- I didn’t do anything fancy when I set them up. My next step is to swap the speakers (i.e Office → TV Room, TV Room → Office) but that is going to be a bit work so I thought I’d ask here first.
Hi all,I bought two Sonos Ones last week. Spotify works ok, but I can't listen to anything else through the system. I've trawled the web as much as I can stomach but no luck.Any suggestions to help me please? Jonny
Hey,Sonos Radio frequently pauses mid-song before resuming. Stops for about 2 seconds.Diagnostic report: 1071618161
My Sonos Amp was working perfectly fine just the day before but now it does not have any light. I’ve tried various solutions (as well as the ones listed here) as well as the Sonos Assistant bot but to no avail. My amp is relatively new, bought less than 2 years ago - is this the regular life cycle of a Sonos product?
The most recent Zenwifi firmware update caused all my Sonos products (except MOVE) to stop working. I had to roll back to previous firmware. Once I rolled back, everything is working fine.
Sonos speaker volume increases randomly during song and songs will start from the beginning after midway. It seems to only do it on our Pandora account. SiriusXM and Spotify accounts don’t encounter this issue. We use many Ones (Gen 2) that are all connected to ethernet. Does anyone know what the issue might be? I sent diagnostics with conformation # 1663762162. Thanks,-Brandon
