This started happening about a year ago. I have a Sonos One wired to my router, and a Playbar and two more Sonos Ones (in separate rooms) connected on the SonosNet network. Everything works fine, until the router reboots due to a power outage or other reason. When the SonosNet network comes back up only the wired Sonos One and the Playbar are recognized. I have to unplug and plug back in the other two Sonos Ones for them to be recognized again.Any ideas on what might be causing this? I’ve tried changing the wireless channel, resetting the speakers and swapping out the wired Sonos One. No luck with any of it. Thanks in advance.
Hi there, In the past few month, Comcast warned me of that i was reaching my maximum internet quota (1.3T). As we are 5 users all day on Webex/Zoom… I thought it was ok, until my friends who are in similar family setup told me that they used less than half of this traffic. As i logged on my WIFI i found out that Sonos was the generating humongous traffic compared to other devices (x300 vs the 2nd active user). While we use our Sonos system quite a lot, it seems very weird that it jams my Internet connection like this. Any clue ? ThanksStan
One of our amps has just started blaring out rap music (that none of us would listen to) incredibly loudly in the middle of the night at a volume we would never use. Any help?
New setup: I have a Playbar, Sub (Gen2), two Ones and two connect:amps. They have all been factory reset. All of these are compatible with the S1 app per the Sonos webpage. I have the Playbar directly connected to the router, nothing else is connected. My phone is on wifi running the S1 app. I run the setup process and the S1 app sees the Playbar after I press the two buttons and hear the chime. Once the progress bar stops though I’m being told that the Playbar is not compatible with the S1 app and I need to use the S2 app. (error message below)Did something change on the S1 app to prevent these previously accepted devices from being added? I’m confused as to why I’m getting this message.
I am trying to install a new playbar. The system finds the playbar and then asks me to push the play/pause button and volume up. I do so and hear the chime. But nothing happens afterward. The app stays waiting for me to push both buttons and doesn’t move forward. Does anybody know how to solve this issue? thanks.
Hi, two days ago my Connect:Amp (on S2) lost connectivity with the Sonos App and started to blink white, after unplugging and plugging it a few times it did the same white flashing OR orange flashing, tried a factory reset, and now it does the same white flashing, also tried connecting it via ethernet but it just doesn't work and it doesn't stablish a connection with the switch or wifi, pressing the MUTE | VOL+ does nothing and idk what else to do. Thanks
Hi, Have a set of Fives set up as stereo pair supported by a sub. Stream content from Sonos app works flawless. But when using Airplay, it only stream to one of the two speakers. And to get them working again, I need to re-configure the stereo configuration. (After an Airplay stream, it destroys the stereo setup even streaming from the Sonos app, even configuration is show present. After re-setup it works again.) I have tried to stream directly from Spotify app and using generic Airplay stream from other source with same results. Narrow issue down to Airplay+Stereo Pair in Sonos. Have all the latest soft- and firmware with only iOS devices used in house hold. Tried from different iOS devices with same results. Suspect IP for stereo pair is ignored by Airplay and stream is sent directly to ‘first speaker’ in pair setup. That would suggest Airplay destination is wrongly flagged by Sonos app. No idea on how to fix that and that would be a bug in Sonos app, if my suspicions are correct. S
Why my sonos one gen 2 connect to wifi for 2 minutes and then lost for 10 days?
Hi, I have run into some issues with my Sonos and Spotify. Sonos can’t add songs to the queue, sometimes Sonos can’t connect to Spotify, I have seen errors 701 and 1001. I have searched through the support pages and have tried to solve it myself first. What have I missed?I have two Sonos play 1’s and a sub in one group, and another Play 1 in a different group (room). Here’s what I already tried:Reset/reboot routerRestart Sonos hardwareAssign static Ip'sReinstall Sonos appAlso all of the above in different order I should mention that it has worked without problems for years. I have the problems a few weeks now. I have sent a diagnostics report to Sonos (1635708822). I don't know if any of you have access to that? It's a report just a few minutes after restarting router and sonos, and the problems where there… I am hoping for some insight from you :-) Thanks!
Sometimes, I like to use Logitech Media Server (LMS) in addition to the Sonos app to control my Sonos devices. I have Sonos Move and a Sonos Play 5 (2nd edition). I installed a plugin in LMS called “UPNP/DLNA bridge”, so I can use desktop LMS and an app on my iPhone called Ipeng to control non-Squeezebox devices, including my 2 Sonos devices. After installing the bridge plugin, I was able to initially see both my Sonos Move and my Sonos Play 5.However, after about an hour, the Sonos Move disappeared from the list of available devices in LMS. What’s strange is that I can still view Sonos Play 5 and my Samsung TV (in addition to my Squeezebox Boom and Squeezebox Radio) in LMS.When I open the list of plugins, under the list of "Players currently in the configuration file", the Sonos Move still is listed. I've tried hitting the "restart" button next to "Start the Bridge" but didn't work. I also tried rebooting the Sonos Move too. I can view both Sonos devices in my Sonos app, but again, I c

My Symfonisk speaker was working fine until a few months ago. Then it started to not being visible from the app (or being seen over AirPlay2). Only after force killing and restarting the app a few times the unit would wake up and become visible. Now this is not happening anymore, so I decided to reset and reconfigure the unit. The app finds the unit and seems to start configuration (sound is playing) but after a while it says that it lost connection, to power down and then on again the Symfonisk unit. Went through the process many times but always same results. Things already tried based on other posts found in the community: moved speaker closer to the router connected speaker to router via ethernet cable deleted and reinstalled app on my iPhoneDoes anyone have an idea of how to solve this problem?
HiI feel like there is an issue with the app, I have Ones with Alexa, and if I go away for a day or so, and I come back and try to use the Sonos app it says it’s unable to find my devices on the network. However they are on the network, there are no issues with my network, if I give the speakers an Alexa command they respond as expected even though the Sonos app doesn’t find them. The only way to get them to function with the app again is to unplug them and plug them back in again then everything functions until they sit for awhile, which is getting to be a pain. Thanks
I have 4 Connect:AMPs and 1 Connect (Gen2). Two of the Connect AMPs have Line-In connections from TVs - Kitchen and Bedroom. The set up was done two years ago, and has been working well until recently. Now, if I select Line-In on the app, it indicates active audio (wavy thing), however there’s no sound from the speakers. I tried both the line-ins separately on the respective rooms’ Connect AMPs and also on Connect AMPs in other rooms - no use. However, all play streaming music (from local PC) and internet radio stations well. Only problem is with Line-In on both the AMPs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have two Sonos 1 speakers and one says it is “hidden.” I’ve completed the steps in the previous community thread and it still won’t come out of hiding.
The app Says my sonos one is offline when trying to connect with other device, have tried turning on and off any suggestions please
Hi, My playbar isnt producing any sound via the optic cable from tv. I tried changing the cable but still no luck. My tv is a toshiba 2016. On the app it shows the tv but no sound. I tried turning the speakers off for the tv but still no luck. I dont know if this is a software or hardware issue as music directly from the app is playing completely fine. please help.
Anyone else having problems connecting directly through airplay now. I was ok until last week. But now I only be able to play through the Sonos app rather than through music - airplay on my phone?
Hello, I have an Arc, two One SLs, and a Sub configured as a surround system. It works great, when it works.Occasionally (once or twice a week), one or more speakers stop working and the app shows ?+?+?, replacing the speaker with a question mark. Sometimes it's all of the speakers, sometimes it's just one or two. Occasionally, the system fixes itself. Other times, I need to reset my wireless router and/or power off/on the speakers. The issue will usually repeat again in a couple of days. I would appreciate any help resolving this issue for good. It is becoming quite frustrating.Thank you, Eric
just unboxed my Symfonisk, which i have had in storage, it is brand new not used it before today, as i’m new to these things i don’t know how they get to work etc, trying to play via airdrop on my iPhone X it connects manages to play a track then goes off & wont play another, (but says its playing & connected to the speaker) or it disconnects completely and wont play anything…. or connects to radio station app via airplay but then disconnects is it airplay, bluetooth or wifi issue?, or something else?, cheers
Tried unplugging my speaker, then router, and plugging speaker back in after router rebooted, as suggested on this forum. Sonos app on phone stuck at ‘Searching for nearby products, make sure they’re powered on….’ and doesn’t see my Soundbars. So frustrating as this happens every time I loose power. Other devices seem to connect fine when power comes back on except for my Sonos products. Sound bar is not near my router so connecting directly via ethernet cable is not an option.
According to this article, https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4786?language=en_US The symfonisk should work with both the S1 and S2 apps. However, I cannot get mine to do so. Even after a reset when I try to add it to a new system via the S1 app I’m told it will only work with the S2 app and it need to download the S2 APP. I have a gen 1 S5 so can only use the S1 app for a complete system.
