Is it possible to use a Sonos Amp as a stand alone amp?

I have a WiiM streaming device plugged in to the line inputs on the back of the Sonos amp but not getting any audio.

I’m using passive Polk Audio speakers with the amp.

Any help with this would be appreciated!

I don’t own an amp but I have a WiiM mini connected to the line in on my 5 and play it using a pair of 5s and a sub

i had to set my 5 to line in on the application which once done I don’t touch and then I just use the WiiM app to play music

I don’t have the new s2 app but I rarely open the Sonos app preferring to use WiiM app and Sono+ widget app to group speakers and for volume

hope this helps and if you have the new app hope this works

Yes you can. This link describes how to enable the line in.

But you should enable autoplay on the line in and you will never have to worry assuming you don’t update the app as future updates may break the feature as it did recently.

Thanks for the help.

Works like a charm!
